About your Doula

Hello! I am Kayla your Wholesome Oasis Doula. I am a boy momx3 & one watching over my boys and I in the sky. I was born and raised in Chesapeake Virginia by my Nonna. I graduated from Oscar Smith High School in 2016. I am the oldest of 8 siblings- half and step-siblings. I have so many neices & nephews!

I am so excited that you are here considering me to be your doula or to simply gain knowledge about my work as a doula. I have loved all things babies since I was a baby. My love for birth started after I had my first VBAC with a doula and midwife in 2019 16 short months after my cesarean in 2017 at DePaul Hospital & another HBVBAC waterbirth in 2022. I am hopeful that my love for God, family, women, babies & birth will shine through my work in the community here in Hampton Roads VA & Northern NC. My boys and I love pitbulls, going to the beach, playing outside, riding roller coasters, reading, self care, learning, spending time with family & friends, road trips, watching and playing sports. My favorite holidays are Thanksgiving & Christmas. My favorite seasons are spring and fall. I can't wait to support you and your family while you transition with a new addition!
